In the beginning follows my exploration of the wild herds of Galicia, Spain. Moving as one through difficult terrain, these horses remind us of the beginning fo time. The experimental technique developed for this series of artworks explores the tension between organic and inorganic materials. Through a process of layering, the final figuration emerges. A creative process that takes joy in the unpredictability of the final result.
