Created using bas relief technique with humble earth materials—sand, clay, jute, pigments and wood—this 30cm x 23cm x 2cm piece holds the gesture of my hand while preserving this moment of enigmatic connection. Rendered in black, the work strips away all distraction to reveal the horse’s partially concealed form, embodying the totality of color rather than its absence.
