Fundación Cajasol, Sevilla
In November 2024, ÁNIMA opened its doors at Fundación Cajasol in Seville. This solo exhibition by Tiziana Domínguez invited viewers into an intimate exploration of her lifelong bond with horses—creatures that embody both power and sensitivity, and whose silent presence continues to shape her creative path.
Set within one of southern Spain’s most respected cultural institutions, ÁNIMA unfolded as a visual meditation on instinct, emotion, and the shared soul between humans and animals.
The opening event welcomed a distinguished group of guests, including Antonio Pulido, President of Fundación Cajasol; designer Adolfo Domínguez; Juan Verde; and a number of renowned horse breeders—voices deeply connected to the equine culture that inspires the work. Wine from Galicia, generously provided by Bodega Martín Códax, added a regional note of celebration.
The exhibition featured a series of paintings created with coffee, charcoal, and natural pigments—materials chosen for their organic tactility and emotional weight. Each canvas captured a moment of stillness or movement, inviting viewers to pause and reflect on themes of vulnerability, freedom, and the invisible force that animates life itself. The word ánima, meaning “soul” in Spanish, served as both title and guiding thread.
The Seville presentation of ÁNIMA left a lasting impression, deepening Fundación Cajasol’s role as a host of transformative cultural experiences, and reaffirming Tiziana Domínguez’s voice as one rooted in sensitivity, presence, and the art of emotional connection.
