Fundación Cajasol, Jerez de la Frontera
Thank you to everyone who visited ÁNIMA during its time in Jerez.
This solo exhibition, presented by Fundación Cajasol, was a deeply personal journey into my lifelong connection with horses—unfolding in the very city that gave birth to the Spanish horse, my muse and companion.
Bringing ÁNIMA to Jerez was incredibly meaningful. The opening event on May 10th welcomed guests into a space where the soul of the horse could be seen, felt, and remembered.
Through coffee-soaked textures and layered canvases, the works explored the tension between the organic and synthetic, the animal and the human, figuration and abstraction. Each piece invited viewers to lean into silence and discover a story without words.
The atmosphere was intimate and electric—filled with thoughtful conversation, emotion, and curiosity. Though the exhibition has now closed, its spirit lives on. If you felt a connection, or would like to revisit the collection, select works remain available online.
